The Original Route 10

We will start with something very simplistic, yet poignant. I often look for the most difficult or least accessible scenario(s) to photograph. Despite its simplicity, this original overhead sign adjacent to Route 10 in Providence portrays a plethora of fascination (to me anyway),

One of the most fascinating entities on the bypass of the congested Onlyville (Providence) neighborhood is this little corridor that at one time was the only thoroughfare for traveling from point A to B. Why the sign is still here amazes me. The only reason it may at all be beneficial is solely to enhance the excitement of history buffs such as myself. Lucky me. The_Original_Route_10_Part_2.html
